2/12/09 A new artist on my door

One of my grad students stopped by to see me about her project and
brought her 4th-grade daughter, M, who decorated my door with this
wonderful art. She also took the picture (which she emailed to
herself) using my iPhone.

10/17/08 The secret is out

This morning on the way to work I needed Kristin (I need Kristin a
lot . . . I could not do my job without Kristin and I certainly
wouldn't have as much fun in my job were it not for Kristin). I
pulled out my phone, tapped my favorites button, and picked Kristin's
number from the list of 5 (I only have 5 favorites . . . I'm very
exclusive that way . . . get too many favorites and you defeat the
purpose of a favorites button). Kristin answered right away and was
able to help me, as usual. I happened to mention that she was one of
only 5 favorites on my phone and then found this message on my board
when I arrived at school:
